Pecha Kucha Night #13 is June 21st!
If you haven’t attended a Pecha Kucha Night yet, it’s time to see what
all the fuss is about. Come to the New City Ballroom (Hungry Bear) at 6:30pm, Thursday, June 21st to enjoy this free community event.
_What is it?
“Pecha kucha” is the Japanese word for “chitchat.” Speakers share their experiences, hobbies, artwork, and just about anything else in six-minute-forty-second presentations. The event has no theme and there is no advertising. Anyone can volunteer to present. During intermission, you can chat with other audience members and the presenters themselves. PKN is a great way to meet new people, learn new things, and have a few good laughs. And, it is free! Another exciting component of Bemidji’s PKN is local art and artists. Pecha Kucha is a non-profit event with chapters in over four hundred cities around the world. Learn more about this event. |
